#6 - Chalice with Stitch-work Repair

Patinated Oak vessel treated with lime and a touch of fire before coating with danish oil and wax and then repaired with our signature waxed cotton stitchwork.

Our Chalice, is an oversized take on the original drinking vessel and another example of a piece with the flared foot we’ve been exploring on certain forms recently. This particular incarnation features some rather playful curves throughout its form.

This vessel was crafted from timber framing offcuts acquired from a local sawmill, the Oak itself was from a responsibly managed woodland in Kent.
