Lightning-struck English Oak from Heathfield, Sussex and waxed cotton thread (2024)

Large wood-turned Vessel treated with fire and lime before oiling and buffing to achieve a leathery dark patina with deep earthen hues. Featuring integral miniature hand carved handles and a bold spire like masculine form, all hewn from a single section of ancient Oak.
