#27 - Kingston Bowl

Patinated Oak vessel treated with lime and a touch of fire before coating with danish oil and wax and then burnished with a stiff brush

A rather shallow take on a form that takes inspiration from an Etruscan Urn we came across during our research and consequently fell in love with, this shallower take is such a departure from the original reference that we decided to give it a different name, after a local village near our workshop in the South Downs.

This vessel was crafted from timber framing offcuts acquired from a local sawmill, the Oak itself was from a responsibly managed woodland in Kent.
