#37 - Cauldron

Patinated Oak vessel treated with lime and a touch of fire before coating with danish oil and wax and then burnished with a stiff brush.

A take on the classic Cauldron, a vessel steeped in mythology that appears to span fantastical fiction to practical need. This vessel is a celebration of one of the most ancient cooking vessels known to humanity although perhaps not ideal for cooking in this particular circumstance.

This vessel was crafted from timber framing offcuts acquired from a local sawmill, the Oak itself was from a responsibly managed woodland in Kent.
