Our Telscombe vessel is rather fondly named after the local village of Telscombe perched atop the South Downs very near where our workshop is based, while its curves are reminiscent of the local landscape the base of the form takes inspiration from a mesmerising Roman bowl in the British museums collection that we sort of echoed in the sides of the vessel too.
Height: 18cm
Diameter:15cm
Price: £710 GBP (inc VAT)
Origin: English Oak off cuts from Copford Sawmill
Finish: White Limed
The lightest finish we’ve produced as a studio, our white limed surface treatment involves lightly sanding and polishing the surface of raw Oak before rubbing in a white liming solution that beds into the open grain of the timber before buffing it back and sealing with a hard wax oil.
