Novus Collection: Part II — Solo Exhibition at The New Craftmaker for London Craft Week 2025
10 – 31 May 2025
The New Craftmaker, 67 Pimlico Road, London SW1W 8NE
We’re honoured to return to London Craft Week this May with our first solo exhibition at The New Craftmaker: Novus Collection: Part II. Running from 10th to 31st May, this new body of work marks our most ambitious presentation to date.
An evolution of our debut Novus collection first shown at Collect Open 2024, this series continues our exploration into archetypal form, material memory, and quiet strength. Each vessel has been hand-shaped from unseasoned English oak offcuts, sourced locally from a Sussex sawmill, and crafted in dialogue with the grain, embracing the imperfections of the material as a fundamental part of the final voice.
Rather than replicate historical vessels, we reimagine them through the lens of contemporary woodcraft. Drawing inspiration from Greco-Roman, Southeast Asian, British Neolithic and Saxon references, we explore how form and symbolism echo across time and culture — culminating in pieces that feel both timeless and quietly familiar.
These works are not just sculptural objects but contemplative studies in texture, balance, and presence. We’re deeply grateful to be exhibiting alongside so many remarkable makers as part of London Craft Week, and to be collaborating with The New Craftmaker to present this new chapter of our journey.

Artist Talk: In conversation with Sarah Myerscough
Tuesday 13th May 2025 | 18:00–20:30
The New Craftmaker, 67 Pimlico Road, London SW1W 8NE
Tickets: £15 – Book via London Craft Week
As part of London Craft Week, we’re honoured to be joining esteemed gallerist and curator Sarah Myerscough for a live conversation exploring the deeper themes behind our work. Taking place on the evening of Tuesday 13th May, this event offers an intimate look into our creative process, with a particular focus on material intelligence, intuitive making, and the poetics of woodturning.
The conversation begins at 19:00 and will run for approximately 30 minutes, followed by informal dialogue and a close viewing of the works featured in our exhibition Novus: Part II. The evening will be standing format, though seating can be arranged upon request—please contact marketing@thenewcraftmaker.com with your name and ticket number if you require accessibility support.
Join us as we reflect on how nature, history, and intuition converge in our vessels, and how timeworn marks—cracks, knots, weathering—become a vital part of each piece’s final voice.
