FOG Design + Art Fair 2026

Ash & Plumb at FOG Design + Art, San Francisco

Works by Ash & Plumb are currently being shown at FOG Design + Art in San Francisco, presented by Sarah Myerscough Gallery as part of CONNECT — a curated conversation between British and American makers working with natural materials.

Shown here is Pentad II, our most recent body of work exploring contemporary Garniture and the relationship between form, grouping, and material lineage.

Pentad II

Pentad II is the most recent exploration of contemporary Garniture by Ash & Plumb — a playful grouping of intricately carved vessels, each shaped from a singular section of oak, and all taken from the very same tree.

The collection draws on ancient symbology and ceremony, conjuring an almost mythological presence. Each vessel has been baptised in fire before being intentionally weathered, worn, and mended, creating a deep and characterful patina throughout each piece. From one form to the next, the collection acts as an ancient tribute to the tree from which they came — individual objects bound by shared origin, material memory, and time.
