Ash & Plumb are pleased to be showing work in Material and Maker at Gallery 57, from 31 January – 14 March 2026.

The exhibition brings together makers whose practices are rooted in material understanding and hand-led processes. Our contribution includes a small number of sculptural wooden vessels made from English oak, shaped slowly while still green, allowing movement, surface change, and repair to remain visible within the finished forms.

Gallery 57 has supported our work at earlier stages of the journey, and it feels meaningful to return with pieces that reflect how the practice has evolved — quieter, more resolved, and grounded in material continuity.
