Ash & Plumb in House & Garden UK Magazine (March 2025)
We’re delighted to share that Ash & Plumb has been featured in the March 2025 issue of House & Garden magazine. Written by Features Editor Elizabeth Metcalfe and beautifully captured by photographer Andrew Montgomery, the feature offers a glimpse into our world—our workshop, our process, and the philosophy that shapes our work.
Elizabeth and Andrew visited our Sussex workshop to document the way we craft our vessels, from sourcing sustainably felled English oak to the intricate hand-carving and finishing techniques that define each piece. The article highlights the deep connection we have to our materials, the way we embrace imperfection, and how our work draws inspiration from ancient European forms while maintaining a contemporary presence.
Seeing our work in House & Garden, a publication that champions craftsmanship and design, is an incredible milestone for us. It’s a reminder of why we do what we do: to create vessels that hold not only physical space but also meaning, memory, and emotion.
You can find the feature in the March 2025 issue of House & Garden, available now. If you’d like to explore more about our journey and process, visit our press page or follow us on Instagram for behind-the-scenes insights.
As always, thank you for being part of this journey with us.
